About the course
The course offers a problem-oriented overview of the history of the Jews in Sweden from the 1600s to the 1970s, of inter-Jewish relations and relations between Jews (individual and collective) and the Swedish government and the surrounding majority society. This general overview covers political, social, economic, organisational, cultural, religious and gender aspects and is placed in an international context.
